Description
Calcium & Magnesium Citrates provide both vitamins and other nutrients in a better absorbed form to assist with maintenance of healthy bone structure and function. With normal aging, there is a gradual loss of bone and a higher risk of osteoporosis. This leads to an increased risk of fractures in people over 40, particularly women. This supplement contains Calcium Citrate, Vitamin D 125IU, Vitamin K, Magnesium Citrate, and other nutrients that support calcium absorption, reduce the calcium lost from resorption, and help the nutrients survive in your stomach long enough to be absorbed.
If you are over 40 and have weaker bones, brittle bones, or broken a bone recently, this supplement may be helpful. Additionally, if you are taking a proton-pump inhibitor (such as Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, etc.), the drugs may be blocking the absorption of calcium from their stomach and you may benefit from taking this supplement. The calcium in this supplement is provided as citrate and hydroxyapatite, a bioavailable source of calcium derived from whole bone.
