Description

Resveratrol is found in some plants, including red grapes and blueberries. Essentially, it is a very powerful anti-oxidant. Though it has many properties and associated benefits, resveratrol and other anti-oxidants are mostly known for their anti-aging properties. In other words, it supports a normal, healthy aging process by preventing something called “free radical damage”, which accelerates the aging of cells.

You can read more about free radical damage if you want, but essentially, as we age, our molecules lose electrons in their outer shells. This is a free radical. Once the molecule loses an electron, it tries to get it back by stealing an electron from a healthy molecule. This damages this molecule, which damages another, and so on and so forth until an entire cell is damaged. The process continues from there. Anti-oxidants break the damage chain and provide an electron to fill the outer orbit of the free radicals, thus preventing further damage.

In summary, resveratrol, combined with the grape seed extract, help promote optimal health and healthy aging by supporting normal, healthy, cellular function.
